Objectives:

1. Google Sync in Chrome - shortcuts to SchoolTool and https://www.mrcolbysworld.com/

2. Create a Google Slide and name it Your Name Graphics Portfolio (example Joe Smith Graphics Portfolio) and share it with me. All of your work will be added to this.  You only need to share it once.

3. Find 2 photos on the Internet that demonstrates a use of either Photoshop or graphic design in advertising. It could be from magazines, posters, clothing, billboards, online and in motion in films, videos, or commercials. Add these to the Google Slide Graphics Portfolio and share it with me.  Tell me what you like about each photo. Is it the color, font, arrangement of items, wording, picture touch-ups, etc. Each of you will pick one and we will discuss what made it stand out.

Objectives:

1. We will need to use multiple pieces of software this year! 
2. Design a poster using Publisher that advertises SchoolTool.  
   • The poster must include a graphic for SchoolTool (Google SchoolTool)
   • Text describing what it is used for, how to login, etc.
   • A QR code for both the Google Play Store https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mindex.schooltool&hl=en_US&gl=US

   • A border
   • Size should be 8.5 X 11 (Portrait or Landscape)
   • Colorful and attractive - We want parents and students to want to download the app.  That means a mix of fonts, color, and sizes.

   • Take a screenshot of it and insert it into your portfolio for a grade!

Objectives:

1.  Digital Photography Scavenger Hunt - Use Google to obtain answers for the digital photography scavenger hunt. You are also going to need to learn how to email yourself a photo using your school email.

You may work in teams. Please remember that if your partner makes a mistake, you get the same grade as them!

Digital Worksheet -

• You need to write the answers on the worksheet. 

• Once you are finished, put the sheets side by side and take a photo of both of them together.

• Next, email the photo to yourself and partner (if you have one), and insert it into your Google Slide.
